Newest Video of Nana's Big Girl

Kristy told me to head to You tube and see the latest video of Princess Kasja. I think this might just be a yogurt commercial in the making. This proud Nana just had to share with family and friends!

Nana's Girls

Mahala 7 months

My Son-in-law posted new pictures this past weekend and I had to share them. The last time we saw the girls was September and they grow so fast. It is hard living so far away, thank heaven for internet pictures so we can watch them grow.

The little lady will turn two in March already! Now this Nana has to figure out what to buy her for her birthday. Any ideas?

New Picture for Nana's Album

I have to share the newest picture of my granddaughters Kasja and Mahala. I've been having fun picking up the latest toys with all the toy deals out right now for the two little ladies in my life.

Have a great Sunday. Next on my list today, find a great photo print deal for my gallery :)

Grandma's Girl and the Dreamhouse

Spending a nearly a week with my l8 month old granddaughter Kasja was this "Nana's" dream come true. Jordan's parents hosted the rehearsal dinner at their home and Kasja enjoyed playing in his little sister Cate's Dream Playhouse. With working electricity, and filled with Pottery Barn play furnishings. Isn't Kasja was a very big little girl.

I took pictures, came home and researched the plans and we will save $$$ by building this Amish Made Playhouse ourselves. This will be our girls next years 4H project for the little ones in the family. (This years project, the playground is well underway).

After seeing this, this Nana's house needs one. After looking at the pictures even Grandpa thinks so! I have been interested in dollhouses since I was a little girl, and Kasja and Mahala need one when they come to Nana's house.

Miss Kajsa's Birthday Present

Step 2 Naturally Playful Sandbox

I knew I wanted to get Miss Kasja a sandbox for her first birthday on Thursday. After seeing all the pictures of her eating sand in Bermuda. I had to get her a sandbox for the backyard. In Texas a sandbox can be used year round. After spending the morning using the internet to research her present and found the best sandbox and then the best price. I settled on the Step 2 Naturally Playful Sandbox and I had it shipped to Texas. But of course I am sad that I won't get to see her open it on her Birthday. She is growing up so fast, and Kristy has posted new pictures on her blog.

The Sandbox ranged from $59.99 to $79.99 and shipping is an issue as the item is so large. I found the best price at BabyAge for $59.99 with $9.99 ships anything. I forgot that I should have gone in to order through Ebates.com and got a 3% rebate which would have given me $2.10 back.

Kristy will just have to snap plenty of pictures and camcorder her playing. Being a long distance Grandma mean I just have to spoil her when I get the chance.

Grandma's Girl

I had not gotten to see my granddaughter Kasja since she was three weeks old. The internet and following Kristy's blog has been my lifeline to keep up with Kasja's adventures, much less seeing her in all our bargain finds.

But there is no substitution for seeing her in real life. I got the privelage of driving up to the Twin Cities and meeting up with Kristy, Chris and baby Kasja as they had a work trip up from Texas to 3M. Kasja and I hug out with Aunties Becca and Detamara while Mom and Dad were at work and Grandpa caught up on his reading.

The family got together for several outings... a trip to Rochester to meet Great-Grandpa and Great-Granny Yurcek, brunch with the Eke extended family, a Gluten-free Pizza Outing, Gluten-Free Pancake Lunch with Uncle Nate, The Hollidazzle Parade and Downtown Minneapolis Macy's Holiday Auditorium Adventure. Living for a week in the Hilton with no housework and playing with Kasja was a dream Holiday, and of course big city bargain shopping.
