Kmart Doubles--Our Store is Doubling and Scored!!

We returned from vacation to Kmart Doubling :) Doc got called in and he dropped me off at Kmart and headed to do a surgery while I shopped.

Many stores have the 10 item limit, but our store manager told me to go shopping and use as many coupons as I want. I think he wants to boost sales. I am careful that I just don't cherry pick the FREEBIES, but actually spend money on things we use.

Hints:

• Call your Kmarts to check to see if your store is doubling and the policy and limits.

• Break your order into $50 increments before tax to take advantage of using the $5/$50 to its fullest advantage.

I also remember to shop at Kmart not just only on Double Days, but watch their ads and and clearance for my regular shopping needs.

I broke my transactions into 4-- $50+ dollar transaction and I love our Kmart cashiers. The young man who checked me out once again, was remarking you got that for FREE. They said I was the second customer of the day and the lady that just left had over $80 worth of merchandise for around $2.00. My friend Melissa impressed the cashiers as I told them I have taught her well.

With spending under $30 I scored over $260.00 worth of products. I will go back because my cart wouldn't hold anymore. I earned $5 and $12 reward to spend, so my NET Cost $18.

I will buy our picky dog's Moist and Meaty $13.99 bulk pack for $1.49 after the $12.00 reward.
I use the rewards on things I don't get a coupon for instead of rolling them, extending the variety of things I can pick up for nearly nothing!

Kmart Doubles--New Free Item Irish Spring Body Wash

If you are making one last run for Kmart Doubles. This deal is worth taking a few moments to print out before heading out.

Kmart has it for $3.99 and with the $2.00 off coupon on Coupons.com doubled will make it FREE. Use zip code 45435 and print out 2--coupons for $2.00 of Irish Spring Body Wash if you have a second computer you can print 2 more to take advantage of the 4 limit for FREE.

While you are there, print 2 out the $1.00 Softsoap Liquid Handsoap coupons on the same page. (same zip code). These should be FREE or almost FREE. I have not priced checked it but will pick them up tomorrow on our last run to Kmart Doubles.

Kmart--Doubles Trip #3 and $76.00 in Free Toys

The girls and I went to Kmart and we did 4 sets of deals. One set of Kimberly Clark products and 3 sets of Unilever. We spent our 4--$14.00 catalina shopping coupons along with 4 --$5/$20 Toy Coupons and bought 4 transactions of $20+ toys. We went over $20 on a couple of the toy transactions and with tax we spent under $10 for over $85 in toys plus tax with $76 savings. These were NEW for fall toys. I had already cleaned up on the 50% off the clearance toys on Sunday and it is all picked over.

The cashiers were impressed by my totals on the doubles and shocked by the savings on the toys deal :) It feels amazing to have the cashiers impressed!!

Kmart Doubles and an extra 50% off Clearance Toys

We scored!! We headed to Kmart to pick up our 10 coupons and take advantage of stocking up on Kimberly Clark Products and pick up our $14.00 Shopping order Catalina coupons. I budget $100 a month to take advantage of doubles coupon for household items. (We still have $47 in the budget after Becca and My spending the $50 to get the 2--$14 catalinas for buying Kimberly Clark Products...we stocked up on Cottonelle, Goodnights, Purex and Cereal). The rest of my trips this week will be under $5 each.

We walked in surprised to find an extra 50% off clearance toys. Combining it with my $5/$20 Kmart Toys coupons and the $5/$50 we did our Birthday Shopping, Christmas Shopping along with picking up the Double Deals.

I rolled my my 2--$14.00 Catalinas (each a separate transaction) ... I got the Little Tikes Fire Station With Blower, originally $99.99 for a mere $11.00(which will be great with my $2.00 Step 2 Fire Truck I picked up at a garage sale last month) and A Leapster originally $49.99 for $3.50. I spent another $100 out of the Christmas/birthday budget for over $500 worth of toys and games. Many of these will go for Toys for Tots. Becca and Dee are shooting each other with Nerf
guns as I write. ($2.50 each).

Update: Kmart honored my ad as long as it was in my hand and I could prove my case, I can double UP to 75 on ALL coupons as long as I abide by the rules. Also our Kmart has their own paper ad where they announce they TAKE INTERNET coupons. I am trying today with a test of l0 to see how it goes. The fine print on the ad states no Internet coupons, so I will use them following the limit of l0 rule with the girls. And in a separate transaction my big run, but breaking it into $50 intervals to take advantage of the $5/$50 and the $14 shopping rewards :)

Double Heaven--Double Coupons Pamida and Kmart?

I am seeing DOUBLE again, I have my fingers crossed that I will have double stores, doubling this upcoming week!! I just confirmed on Wisconsin Coupon Mommy that all Wisconsin Kmarts are doubling :)

Our Small town Pamida is Doubling beginning 6/6 thru 6/13.

I have been hearing rumors in frugal land that Many Kmarts are Doubling Coupons up to and including $2.00 again beginning Sunday 6/7.

It was posted on A Full Cup it will BE A LIMIT OF 10 COUPONS per customer. I will be calling Kmart Customer Service tomorrow to verify if our store is doubling and the coupon limits.
I guess Doc and the girls and I will ALL be going shopping with 10 coupons each in hand.

To find out if your Kmart is doubling check the Kmart website for their new ad beginning on Thursday or call Kmart 1-866-562-7848 and ask Customer Service if your store is participating.

After my vacation to Texas I must get my coupon binders in order after three weeks of neglect! With throwing out my back lifting suitcases, I have nothing better to do, but SIT.

This week Becca, Detamara and I have been busy stocking up on Kelloggs Cereal at Kmart. I had ordered 30 extra coupons Kelloggs coupons the Thursday before Kmart Doubles from ebay for $9.95 and they arrived just in time on Monday.

Tonight's Kmart-Mini Trip

The girls and I had just returned from our Kmart Lifeskills math lesson for the day when I was shocked to discover the 30 cereal coupons ordered from Ebay on Friday. That was incredibly fast!

Tonight we had to return our Saturday's Redbox Movies. It bothered me that my fall cost me extra money not being able to get them back on time, but we watched the third movie tonight before returning them. Fireproof even caught the attention of the Doc who doesn't usually like these kind of movies. Oh well, my not being able to walk for the evening excused the $3 second day rental fee.

Doc dropped me off at Kmart while , rushing to beat the 9:00 deadline with 15 minute to go to return them to Walmart. I hobbled in and grabbed 4 boxes of cereal and while I waited took advantage of finding a few more items matching it to my binder.

I discovered the Kelloggs cereal Detamara has been eyeing on clearance. High School Musical Kelloggs Cereal has been $1.49 on clearance (originally $3.49 and never on sale). Tonight I was shocked to find that it was now on last ditch clearance for a QUARTER a box.

I picked up 6 @ $.25 = $1.50 for SIX Boxes of High School Musical Cereal. ( could have used my Kelloggs $1.00 and gotten them for FREE but decided to pass and just pay the $1.50 and use them on the $2.50 boxes).

Savings on this transaction $20.94 cents

I separated the transactions just in case the High School Musical Cereal would work on the Kelloggs cereal rebate, but I didn't expect that it would :(

Tonight after rebate Total $1.03 Total Savings $83.79

As many of you have already heard, many Kmart Stores are doubling next week! Our Store in Platteville which seldom doubles will be and I wanted to get a head start on my coupon matchups. Remember that you can double up and including $2 coupons, limit 25 per day, per person.

After a busy week and a sick teen, I finally found time to put away my Kmart Double Finds from Sunday. Yes, Sunday, I am behind and definitely running out of shelf space in our storage room.

I spent a little more than $80.00 and with Becca and I each taking two runs through the checkouts with our 25 items each, we managed to find all this.

This trip I used 4--$5.00 off of $50.00 coupon on each transaction, bought the required numbers of General Mills and Renuzit/Soft Scrub/Purex items to get 2--$5.00 and 2--$3.00 Catalina coupons which Becca and I each used two on our second transactions to save even more.

Add my other Kmart Receipt, we have enough to qualify for 2-$25.00 gift cards from Glamour Magazine for spending $50.00 at Kmart for each $25.00 card. Taking into consideration my gift card rebates my Kmart Doubles cost me a mere $30.00.

We live in rural Wisconsin and I may have to drive 35 miles to get my doubles, but as you can see it was well worth it. I budget $100.00 a month for doubles to stock our home, my kids homes and apartments, help my friends and the extras for charity.

KMart Double Heaven Again 3/22

Our Kmart in Dubuque is Doubling beginning Sunday March 22nd through March 28th. They will Double Coupons up to and including $2.00.




Once again our local store is not, but the Dubuque store is only 14 miles further and they have much friendlier management anyway, and better customer service.

Check to see if your Kmart is doubling by checking next weeks ad at the Kmart site in the middle of the page under Deals. Check out your stores ad and to see if your Kmarts front cover is clearly marked with the Red Double Coupon Logo.

Don't forget to sign up for Kmart's newsletter and they email you a coupon for $5.00 off of $50.00 purchase. Make sure you give the cashier the Kmart $5.00 off coupon before handing them the manufacturers coupons for a frugal shopping adventure. Last time they limited it to 25 coupons per customer and no more than 4 of the same coupon, this time at some stores the limit may be 75 coupons, but mine is 25 again.

THEY WILL NOT TAKE INTERNET PRINTED COUPONS--I just got off the phone from Kmart Customer Service for doubles.

From Common Sense With Money she has posted a deal from Glamour Magazine to get a $25.00 gift card when you spend $50.00 at Kmart now through 4/30.

I will spend $50.00, I only need to spend $35.00 more as I was already to Kmart this week to buy three $4.99 Leapfrog Books after coupons. I believe that you can submit multiple receipts to total $50.00.

I noticed a few super deals from the March 10 through April 13th Ad on their stock up sale...

Get $3.00 back when you buy $15.00 or $5.00 back when you buy $20.00 of these products on he same Receipt. Purex, Zout, Soft Scrub, Renuzit, Dial, Tone, Right Guard, Soft and Dri, and Dry Idea. Many of these products are on sale and then with double coupons and an added reward. Reward is a coupon towards the next visit.

Just look what $75.00 will buy when you use coupons. I have enough deodorant for a year, three months of trash bags, l month of Bailey's Moist and Meaty Dog food, enough cat food and cat litter for 6 month, 3 months of fabric softener, enough body wash for a year, enough windex for a year or more, Valentines for four families for next year, enough Fruity Pebbles for glutenfree krispie treats for a year and much more.

When I moved to rural Wisconsin, I thought I was moving away from my doubling days, with Kmart and Pamida Doubling I will never have to pay sale price again. We have now added $100.00 to the budget for household goods etc. for the monthly doubles with stocking our house, the boys places, helping my friends and the food shelves.

Remember that you have to have one extra item without a coupon to be able to use the Kmart $5.00 off $50.00 purchase. We bought a soda to use the $5.00 on one order and the other two we threw in a package of Valentines.

After the cashier hits total, the Kmart $5.00 off coupon has to be given before taking off any coupons.

Watch the cashier to make sure she is pressing the correct buttons and the items are doubling correctly.

When using a coupon that is for two items, the coupon will only double to the price of the first item. I do not use any coupons for two unless the double only matches the price of the first item or under.

It does not take long to accumulate 25 items, Jim, Becca, and I each ran through lines and I had gone early in the morning with my coupon buddy Melissa. With living 35 miles from this Kmart we had to do it all in one trip to make the savings worthwhile. While we were in the city, gas across the border is $.20 a gallon less than in Wisconsin and we filled up my gas guzzling SUV saving another $3.58.
