Repurpose: Clips from Children's Hangers

Using Children's pants hangers, make the best clips. I started using them a year ago, and I use them almost everyday for many purposes.















Use your kitchen shears and cut it at the beginning of the clip on each side.
















Two clips for FREE. I use these on open packages of chips, bulk size frozen foods, stacks of papers that are too big for standard paper clips and even keeping phone cords together while
traveling. They even work as clothespins hanging out clothing. They are locked in place and on windy days they do not pull loose.















The advantage of these over store bought clips, they don't have handles and are much stronger and compact besides they are FREE.

Hint: At our favorite children's department store ask if they have any of these hangers. They often do not reuse them and will be more than happy to give them away!

Repurpose--Huggies Wipes Dryer Sheet Holder

What do you do with the empty Huggies Wipes Container?




Repurpose it. I just refilled mine with by FREE Arm and Hammer Essentials from Kmart Doubles. I have been using them for this purpose for over a twenty years. I use one to keep my fabric softener dryer sheets neat and organized. It will hold 2--100 count or 3--80 count packages or 250 sheets. Just open the lid and pull a sheet out. The plastic keeps the scent fresh and neatly organized.

Saving money hint: Use 1/2 a sheet instead of a whole sheet. It works just as well, and reuse the sheet on the next dryer load and add a fresh half.

Becca's Pancakes--Pancake Dispenser?

I found this on A Full Cup today and it is the solution for Becca wanting me to help make pancakes everyday. With her having trouble with her hands, she can just squeeze and use our fancy pancake flipping pan :)




Just use ketchup bottle and add pancake batter via a homemade funnel. Make the funnel by cutting off the top half of a 2-liter Soda bottle and it will fit in the top of the Ketchup bottle and pour in the pancake batter.

She can do it by herself and I only need to stir up the gluten-free batter every four days or so. With research on the internet the batter should keep for about 3-5 days in the refrigerator.

Becca can be independent and save me time helping her and cleaning up the mess.
